Sno*Drift in Atlanta Mi will kick off the 2019 ARA champion. That’s pretty exciting. With Subaru leaving Rally America LSPR was a bit less exciting last year, enough that I didn’t go with year. Maybe I’ll finally make the trip over to lower Michigan and go to Sno*Drift I’ve only been talking about for 4 years.

The 2019 Winter even it scheduled for January 25,26

I wonder how long Rally America will last. I know we didn’t go to LSPR last year mostly because Subaru wasn’t there.

FUCK. YES.

RallyAmerica has been a goddamn clowncar shitshow from the word go. I mean seriously, go to their website. It’s stuck in 2005. Everything is stuck in 2005. I get it, gotta make money to spend money, but investment has been non-existent. Marketing has been non-existent and just abysmal .

I mean, look at their YouTube channel. Their latest attempt is a ‘Cash Cab’ clone. Which was cancelled in 2012. I mean, really ? And the production values are just... it’s painful to watch. TV deal to bring in money? Last I heard they still hadn’t even tried since around 2007. All the management does is sit around and blame everyone but themselves while trying to be ‘cutesy’ and ‘folksy.’

I mean, just basic management and marketing failures abound . Even if I was still physically up for rallying, RA operations alone would make me skip the whole thing. And that’s before all the self-inflicted shitshow drama management has created. I mean seriously. It’s off the charts bullshit and all because of the ownership.

RA cannot die soon enough. Simple as that.
